Age is no barrier when it comes to swimming lessons. The earlier your child is taught how to swim the safer and more confident they will be around water. At Travelling Tadpole Swim School, our programs are designed for children as young as 4 months old.

Every child is different and as a result will advance through our program at different times. However, it is proven that consistency can dramatically quicken the process of learning to swim. Participating in a Learn to Swim Program more then once a week will help your child form a bond with the water and the program itself. Yes we do because recognising the child's efforts is crucial. We have a full series of Merit Awards and Class Graduation Certificates. We also recommend that when your child receives an award you make them feel special to help develop their confidence and progression.

As our swimming program is ongoing, your children are constantly being watched by our Instructors. As soon as they are ready for the next level your child will be reviewed by the lesson Supervisor. If they are ready, they will be awarded a certificate that day and be in the next class the following week. This gives your child the time they need to master the skills and make sure they do not stay in a class they have outgrown.

All children in our infant classes require a parent or guardian in each lesson with them. Children are generally 4yrs old when they graduate to the next level without mum/dad in the water. As soon as your child is ready to progress without a parent, they will be moved straight up! Parent Toddler Classes include - Tadpoles, Turtles and Jellyfish.

Yes! To use your child's voucher, please just let the swim school coordinator at your swim school know and they will process it online. Each voucher must either be emailed or handed-in in person at your child's first lesson. If you have lost your child's voucher or need to apply each voucher can be found under the 'Registrations' tab.

Payments may be made in person to the swim school coordinator or online via direct deposit. All parents who wish to use their child's Sports / Learn to Swim vouchers must provide copies of the voucher to the swim school coordinator so they voucher can be claimed. All payments are due prior to or on the first day of the block.

Yes, enrolments may be made at any time throughout a block of lessons. Check the latest block datesfor the upcoming swim season!
